Day 4: Jispa to Baralacha to Sarchu (85 Km): Charm of the Himalayan mountain can be experienced at Jispa and the river side character of the location makes it much popular and worth visiting place of Manali Leh route . Manali leh highway is a 474 Km long way where there are only two petrol pumps available one at Tandi near Keylong and other one near Leh at Karu. But one should keep one thing in mind that in case of emergency one can get petrol in black on the dhabas on the way of Manali Leh highway.

Manali Leh highway altitude
Manali to Leh altitude differ from a height of 1950 m. at Manali to the maximum height of Tanglang La at 5335m. Tanglang La is the heighest point on Manali Leh highway and Lachulungla at second point having height of 5080m and Baralachal La is on third position while height of Rohtang Pass or Rohtang La is 3980m. Sarchu is situated between Baralacha La to the south and Lachulungla to the north, height of Sarchu campsite is 4290m. While Jispa the other destination to halt on the way to Leh from Manali has a height of 3200m.
